COMPANY PROFILE
Milesworth Travel is an IATA accredited travel company and were the representative office in Chennai for the world’s second largest travel services organisation, American Express Travel from 1999-2015. Our personalized trilingual service and in-depth local knowledge of travel in India combines powerfully with high standards of quality from our decades of association with some of the world’s top luxury travel brands. We are members of the Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO), Outbound Tour Operators Association of India (OTOAI), and the Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI). Our Company is also certified and recognised by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India as an Approved Inbound Tour Operator.
OUR HISTORY
Milesworth Travel was founded by Kanta Gupta in 1994 to provide businesses with one-stop corporate travel management solutions. Prior to striking out on her own at the age of 50, she worked for nearly 12-years as a key account manager with a nationwide agency chain. From 1999-2015, Milesworth was the representative office for Chennai for American Express Travel Services, until American Express terminated the franchise travel network in the Indian Sub-Continent. However from 2000, the Company set up its bespoke leisure travel division, offering tailormade leisure travel to expatriates and overseas travellers. Today, the Company is a fully dedicated to tailormade luxury leisure travel and is headed by Ashish Gupta, its Managing Director.
